{Urban Session – ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’}

Last night I had a blast with these 3 girls!!  We literally shot this session till the sun went down.  Although we got started a little late but we managed to cram so much into such a small amount of time.  The 3 of them were so easy to work with and had fun – which makes all the difference in the world with capturing real ‘girl moments’.  There were texting breaks, candy breaks, giggles and we can’t forget….locking keys in the car.  Yes – it added a little adventure and mystery to the evening…’would we get the car unlocked?’  Then I remembered, I had my trusty AAA card and within 30 minutes a man in a big truck rescued us.  :0)  It reminded me of all the times I locked my keys in my car in college.  This was a first for Cassidy (at least having it happen further from home where a spare could be found).  It all worked out  though!  AAA is the best!  Anyway, here’s a little peek at our session.

The shots all look beautiful, Kara! I had such a great time, thank you so much! :)

Yep everywhere.  We went to so many locations during this recent senior session.  Kaitlyn was amazing and was up for any locations or ideas I had in mind – which makes for a perfect session.  She has the most amazing eyes with her dark brown hair – absolutely gorgeous.  Anyway, here’s a peek at our session.

Side Note:  I’ve had a lot of client inquiries for sessions lately (my Spring schedule is almost booked)  and I apologize for not responding right away.  Since this is one of the craziest times of the year I’m just working long days on my current clients needs managing to fit in a couple of hours rest each night and a shower here and there ;-) .  But I’m thrilled at these requests and will get back to you as soon as I can.  Thanks for your patience :) And I look forward to chatting with you about booking a session.

Below – my color… below that one, a bit of my homebrew yesterday’s haze.  Fun to play :)

Help…I don’t see “Contact” info for you, Kara.
I live in Aiken, SC and we have adopted two adorable Chinese toddlers.
Blu = 3
Caj = 4 (pronounced as 1st syllable of “cashmere”)

Blu was CL/CPalate and is a round-faced pixie.
Caj is left-face birthmark (resembles a blue bruise).

Kim Smith had shared your link so I could see photos of the recent shoot of her children.

Please let me know how to contact you.

Thx so much,

rachel brookeDecember 1, 2008 - 12:54 pm

{Off to College…Fun Senior}

I love photographing seniors – they are so excited for their sessions, makes for so many fun possibilities. Yes, I love, love, love photographing tots – always look forward to photographing little ones. But it’s also fun doing sessions with teens, a completely different chapter of life with a completely different feel. I love it!
This week I photographed a recent graduate who’s college bound in August. Elisabeth didn’t at all mind the 102 degree heat we were shooting in. She didn’t break a sweat the whole session, even after 4 clothing changes in her car!! Wow! The temperature suprisingly didn’t bother me, but I really started feeling the heat when we were on the railroad tracks. Those tracks radiate some serious sizzle- but we worked quickly and moved onto the next location.
Here’s a little peak at her session :)

Thanks ladies!! We had a lot of fun hopping from one spot to the next. She was a trooper. Seniors are so fun (did I say that already?) ;) Kids are too, you get an added work-out with kids with all the running around and activity. And with the heat we had during this session I was so very thankful to be photographing a senior ;) Thanks again!
